This page will show you some PC-Engine games that are currently being developed. Except "Blox" that is written in assembly, all games are written using the great HuC C compiler. ROMs are either directly downloadable on this page, or are available on the author's homepage.

If all this gives you the envy to make your own PC-Engine game too, go to the download section and get HuC. Coding a game is not easy, but if you have some little C programming knowledge and are courageous enough, this is not an impossible task. And HuC comes with a game library that will make your life easier... What? You are still there, stop playing, it's time for coding now! ;)

And keep us posted on your progresses!

     Title : (no title yet)
Author : David Michel (dmichel@easynet.fr)
Download : ROM
Version : 0.2

A sort of futuristic Dungeon Explorer with tanks and robots. Will you be able to kill them all? :) The game is in a very early stage, right now only the player's tank can be moved, the map scrolls and background collisions work but there are no ennemy robots and you can't fire yet.

     Title : Krunch
Author : Frank Caputo (fcaputo1@home.com)

Version : 0.8

A classic! And the lastest version of Krunch is fully playable, yes, this means that you can now *try* to not get caught. ;) Villains are quite smart... Kudos to Frank for the AI.

     Title : Crash
Author : Bt Garner (bt@joyce.eng.yale.edu)

Version : 0.9 beta

Another classic! Collect all the dots... without hiting the red car. Simple game but it will bring back memories to a lot of us.

     Title : FlipIt
Author : Dave Shadoff (daves@interlog.com)

Version : demo #2

The classic Othello game now on your PC Engine. It's not too difficult to beat the computer, but you can also challenge a friend. This is Dave's second game!

     Title : Pong
Author : Zeograd (zeograd@caramail.com)
Graphics : Pit
Homepage : here
Source Code : yes

Pong was the first game written using HuC. No need to describe it, everyone know Pong I think. ;) Two-player mode only...

     Title : Blox
Author : Dave Shadoff (daves@interlog.com)
Homepage : here
Version : demo #4
Source Code : yes

Dave's first game, and also one of the first game developed using MagicKit. This version of Blox is still a demo, but the game is basicaly complete, there are even difficulty levels (speed increase every ten completed lines). As for the game it's a classic Tetris-like game.
