The hybrid concept seems to work fine, I have taken the old CPU core and I modified it to support cycle by cycle accuracy, and to test it I'm running it side by side with the new core, so far I get the same results. That slows down the old core a bit but there are a few things I can try to optimize it. I'm happy of the results, it's looking good. Now I just have to integrate it in MagicEngine to check it in action.
