				| I have the Smartjoy Plus PSX converter (LINK) which is the best converter IMO. I still have no idea how to map the buttons on ME 1.0 PR 4. | |

 I use a PSX convertor with ME 1.0 PR4 as well. Although it's attached to a different model of adapter, I'd imagine that the button numbers are the same. This is how they map on my system, using a dual shock controller with analog mode turned off:

 Triangle: Button 0 Mapped to: VI
 Circle: Button 1 Mapped to: I
 Cross (X): Button 2 Mapped to: II
 Square: Button 3 Mapped to: V
 L2: Button 4 Mapped to: IV
 R2: Button 5  Mapped to: Turbo x3
 L1: Button 6 Mapped to: III
 R1: Button 7  Mapped to: Slow 30fps
 Select: Button 8 Mapped to: Select
   Start: Button 9 Mapped to: Run

 Hopefully it works for you as well.

				| I also am using a USB PSX converter to use my PS2 Dual Shock controller. I have to admit it took me about 15 minutes to get the mapping down perfect but once you get used to it, its awesome! Here's how I mapped my buttons:
 Analog Controls turned ON:

 left analog stick controls the character in every direction.
 L3 = access the MENU
 R3 = FULL SCREEN

 triangle button = button 1
 circle button = button 2
 square button = button 3
 x button = button 4
 L1 = button 5
 R1 = button 6
 L2 = AUDIO -
 R2 = AUDIO +

 Of course you can map the buttons to your own hearts desire! Great new gamepad config David!

				| With the new mapping way you need some training to change something. | |
