				| Just curious if we might see any new video filtering options in ME1.0 in addition to the scanlines/TV Mode?
Personally, I'm rather fond of the 2xSai filter used in a few other emulators, along with the HQ2x/3x/4x filters.

I've included some links below to relevant information if you aren't familiar with them.

 2xSai Filter
 HQ2x/3x/4x Filters

There are also filters out there referred to as Super2xSai and SuperEagle that some emulators use (these as far as I know are simply different variations of the 2xSai filter), in addition to the Scale2x filter (used, I believe, by MAME and a few other emulators)... although I don't have direct links for it at the moment.

				| Yes, v1.0 will have a high res filter, something between Super2xSai and HQ2x filters. You can see a few screenies here http://www.magicengine.com/uk_screenshots_2.html and you can see it in action in the 1.0 preview movie. _________________

				| Cool... That actually looks rather nice judging by the screenshots alone. Can't wait to see it firsthand so I can get a better comparison to the others (screenshots and videos only go so far for judging the overall look).
Any thoughts towards possibly adding additional filters down the road sometime after 1.0?

				| You overlook the fact that those filters require a special license when used in commercial projects such as Magic Engine. That's why it will hardly happen. Anyway, the ME hires filter looks excellent, pretty much close to HQ2x actually. And the new controls over the TV mode are just great :) | |
