I just recently found out about Magic Engine. Downloaded it, tested it, loved it... ready to buy it!
I just wanted to make sure that if I were to buy it now that I would be able to get the full version 1.0 when it comes out as well as future releases? I read that off of the order form, but sounds too good to be true.

It's true, updates have always been and will always be free. 
This is mentionned in the FAQ too.
