the title says it all: most games won't load. I've attempted maybe... 25 roms, and I'd say 3 of them loaded. Not CD images, .pce files.
Do I need bios images or something like that?

| if the roms will not work, they are most likely bad roms. i have no problem with getting roms to work with any version of ME. |

You don't need anything else to play ROMs, it should work right away.
They are perhaps corrupt or may be they have a wrong extension, they could be compressed but still have a .pce extension. Did you try to open one of the file using Winzip or a similar program?
