How do i utilize all these great new features like full screen stretch, bilinear filtering and such that this "latest and greatest" .99 beta 5 claims it offers?
Also, is there an "audit" utility also that I can use to eliminate redundant ROMS in my folder (some, like blodia, show up 4 times in a row! Surprised )

To enable the new features inside ME youll just have to edit PCE.INI. Dead easy sice the file is self explainatory. Example : to enable full screen stretch just say yes to full screen stretch, that easy Cool .

To obtain a "good" editing tool for the pce go get GoodPCE here :
