I can't get past the 3rd cave in the Cave Mountains map. The screen goes blank when I enter the door to leave. Is it possible to transfer a save state, to another emulator, get past that door, & transfer the save state back? I really want to get past this part!

It's not possible to transfer a save state but it should be possible to transfer the backup ram from one emulator to another.

Ok, just need to find a good emulator that plays cd games.
Edit-After a hell of alot of trial & error, I got it working! I saved the game, then instead of loading from the save state, I loaded from the save, & went thru the door, & viola!!!!
