				| My PC is dead. I can't afford to buy a new one right now. Is there any chance of Magic Engine being ported over to the Sega Dreamcast? I know it's a long shot but I paid $225.00 for my copy of Dracula X. I also imported a couple other awesome PC Engine CDs. I would purchase a Dreamcast Magic Engine port for sure. I'm so defeated about my home PC I may just invest in importing a PC Engine sometime before the end of the year. | |

				| David Michel has stated that he has no interest in doing ports of Magic Engine to other platforms. Other emulators might be ported though...perhaps Hu-Go! or Mednafen could be ported to the DC, but don't ever count on ME being ported. _________________

				| Don't worry. Magic Engine still will be around when you get a new computer. | |

				| I just found out that there are a couple of PC Engine Dreamcast projects in the works to play real PC Engine CDs.. So hopefully one will be made public really soon. I downloaded a HuCast preview disc last night and plan on trying it out after work today. | |

				| Is the dreamcast actually fast enough for accurate PCE emulation let alone the CD system? _________________

				| Yes, Dreamcast is very much so. The HuCast emulator preview runs at almost full speed with sound now. When it is complete it will boot real PC Engine discs. Right now it runs isos and .pce files. | |

Yes, but too bad that those projects are either not a high priority or they are dead projects... I used to follow the DC Scene a lot but have since lost almost all emulation intrest...
