Hello to everyone, I'm very new here but thought this would be the best place to ask for help.
I am playing several great shmup games on the PC Engine CD-Rom emulator (TurboEngine16) and I would very much like to play these all the way through but I just do not have the time to practice practice practice what with juggling home and work life along with being a youtube retro gamer content creator (Zeusdaz), I just want to play these all the way through on an evening off with a pint of Guiness at my side 
Can anyone help with with immunity on the following games, there doesn't seem to be any controller cheat input for doing it so are there any immunity cheats/codes for the below games and if so guide me how to impliment them into the emulator, I noticed there is a "CHEAT" option in the drop-down menu in the emulator but I do not know how to use it and I guess I need codes for the below games to be put in there for them to work?!, the brill "Game Genie Guy" device works great for PC Engine Hue card codes but doesn't seem to work in the same way for PC Engine CD-Rom games, I would be eternally grateful for your help and guidence as I'm very new to this emulator, the games are:
DOWNLOAD 2
GATE OF THUNDER
METAMOR JUPITER
RAYXANBER II
RAYXANBER III (I have an input by controller invincy cheat but the effect is I MUST have a super fast ship as a side effect which I do not want).
There are a few codes on GameHacking.org but I have no idea how to impliment or convert them.
I have given up with the Facebook PC Engine sites as there are too many rude trollie people on it asking me such things like why do I want them, or why don't you just watch youtube videos, I shouldn't have to explain why I want them, I just want to play them all the way through regardless of cheating, that's all I want to do.
Please help, thank you all in advance!

Open your Magic Engine Folder, and open the cheat folder
Select the game's cheat file you want to edit, for example I will edit Douible Dungeons
I will open the file and only see I have cheats for only Player 1 and new cheats for Player 2 were recently posted.
Click HERE for Player 2 cheats
I pasted in the codes for Player 2 in the correct MagicEngine format and will save the file
Loaded up the ROM file and verify the code list has been updated

DWCD1001 Rayxanber II (CD)(Jpn)
Close the emulator and modify the notepad document and reload the emulator to see the cheats updated

Sorry for sounding like a dumba*se but as you can imagine if using a PC Engine emlator for the first time and then seeing these posts they are frightening, it looks way to compli for me, so for starters I have to install MagicEngine for this cheat to work? it will not work on TurboEngine emu?!
There is no way codes for these games can be used on Game Genie Guy like It's Hue card games?! |
