I attempted a screenshot of altered beast while in the 1st stage.

WTF!? Are using some 3rd party app or magicengine itself for the shot?

Ahh........%^&%^^*^*! For some reason, I'm now able to get a sceengrab. I watched the bar come up from the bottom before confirming a screenshot had been taken, but nothing was in the directory. Oh well, temporary glitch I suppose. Thanks

when you don't specify the path for the screenshot directory, it's in the directory with pce.exe.

i have make a directory screenshot in the magicengine directory, and put
screenshots=".\screenshot\"
in the ini file. same as roms directory roms=".\roms1\"
or save directory saved_games==".\save\"

I knew that. All the other screenshots were in the magicengine directory. Altered beast was nowhere to be found. I made a folder and moved all the shots there and edited the pce-ini file to reflect the new location.
