				| Mdr ! I'm just realizing that even the old version had this problem as well
The best way to hear it would be to listen to the HES music file (available on my site), or I could make a small OGG file of it, but I don't have access to my FTP right now... Perhaps I can mail it to you -- should be much less than a meg.

About the incriminated channel, it's not easy to tell from the intro tune, there are too few channels used. But in Stage 1, I'm pretty certain the missing noise channel is channel 5 (channel 6 works correctly).

				| [Edit] Drat, that's not going to be an easy one
And yet it plays on a real machine... Same thing with Aldynes and Battle Ace... and possibly a couple others. If you can pin down this one in Space Harrier, I'm pretty much certain it will fix the other affected games as well.

				| By studying the psg log I found something interesting, apparently it does make some noise but not the regular way, it uses a mix of noise + waveform to generate the noise, I never emulated such a thing.
(yea you puzzled me when you told me it was working fine in the old ME

				| Bon ben t'as un mail
If I get that right, there's a good chance that this effect was hopefully not used that much in too many games. In any case, I'm sure you're gonna implement this in no time

Yup, it will be easy to implement, it's something simple. But why we didn't notice this bug before.

				| Hehe, too busy talking about custom resolutions I guess!
Btw, the genuine screenmode detection routine is a blast. It works just great with Soldier Blade (Arcade Screenmode vs Normal Screenmode). I didn't test many other games that can switch between 256x224 and 336x224, but one that doesn't work well is 1943; the V-Mode pushes the display to the far right of the screen, making it unusable.

				| Ys Book 1&2. Everything ran fine up to the belfry in book 2. When the wizard rings the bell for the last time at the end of the intermission, it freezes the emu. I've tried it several times, and it's always in the exact same place.
Edit: Never mind, this was with preview 3. I tried Preview 4 and it worked perfectly fine.

				| Another batch of various glitches here and there
Photograph Boy: there's a lot of unexpected hissing in the music (title screen, ingame). Works fine with Yame.

JB Harold: the intro freezes after the typewriter scene, but the CD music goes on and it's possible to push Run to stop it and move on to the game, which seems to work ok without any apparent problem.

The Legend of Heroes (J): everything seems to run fine, except when you die during a fight; the CD music doesn't stop when the Game Over PSG tune starts to play.

Tengai Makyô: Fûun Kabuki Den: during the whole intro, the various scenes are interspersed with subliminal green screens which should be black; it looks like a background refresh issue or something. This light green colour is actually the one later used in the text windows when the characters speak.

The problem exists with old ME. I dont know if the problem exists with ME PR => the old ME save format is'nt usable with ME PR no ?
In fact the emu freezes for 2 or 3 minutes (during the dialog) then the game start again (after the dialog). So the game remains playable.

				| BIG BUG! in the game Cyber Core

The whole screen is completely whited out.. if you click through the the blank title screen and try to start the game, all you can see is your Ship and nothing else.

I'm in love with the new sound in PR5. Excellent work D!

It probably crashes when the rom is loaded. I didn't check this one yet.

 Cybercore?

The game plays fine here, no error, check if your rom is ok, it should be 384KB.

				| CyberCore (U) is a blocky mess.
CyberCore (J) boots and plays fine.

Both are 206KB zipped and 384KB unzipped.
