i put pce.key in the magicengine directory and magic engine still displays demo version. I am confused because the pce.key works with the previous version of magic engine. Can anyone help me out?

Are you registered? Registered users get updated keys via email...
If you got a free key from older versions, it's not gonna work... go figure, huh???

Well, i'm not one to talk, but asking for help with a free/old key that you have, on Dave's own site is pretty low... I would at least look elsewhere.... You don't have to rub in his face man... Shocked

If you're gonna do it, at least be original... I had one guy "pm" me on IRC & here's roughly wat our chat was:

I give him a B for effort, but he really pissed me off for carrying on a useless chat (I edited out alot from the above excerpt, as that's the gist of wat i remember) with him... which really amounted to one sentence "Can i have a key file?".... He carried on & on about CD issues & blah blah... But all he really wanted to ask me was for a key file...

Anyway... it's probably the same guy. hehe.. This guy sure does have some balls for asking for it in Michel's own website.. i'll say that...

And there are no updated keys, if u r registered, the key will work for every version
