| This question is really for David unless any of you out there have messed with programming an emulator. How do you create an emulator? I would just like a quick and basic idea. Do you somehow get a hold of the system's operating system and then rewrite it in C++ or assembly so that a PC can read it or what? If that's the case how do you get a hold of a console's operating system? Or do you reverse eengineer the code in a dumped ROM so that it will run using a program (emulator)? It all seems like Magic! |
