				| Hello,
I thought I'd post here just in case someone could help me, but I've been playing Yawara II through the physical CD and there's a problem where the game constantly freezes after the judo battle mini-game. It happens with all the modes no matter who wins.

I did a search of other topics and found conflicting information of posters saying it ran fine, and at least one other who had the same problem I did. If anyone could provide help (or a clear confirmation Yawara II just doesn't emulate well) that would be great. Thanks.

				| Just to be sure youre playing on an original CD and not a copy right? _________________
If you translate Pole Position in French with babelfish you get 'Position de Polonais'... I think it's hilarious... from a French point of view.

				| Pretty confident it's the original CD. It was still in plastic wrap when I opened it. The case had the instruction booklet, and the CD has the print on it with the Super CD-ROM2 system icon, game logo and everything.
And I guess it would have helped before, but I tried it both on a Mac and Windows, the freezing happened both times.

				| scanlines_pattern_? controls the pattern of the scanlines at different zoom levels (2-6, no scanlines at zoom x1). Zero shows the color of the pixel and 255 shows black. You could tweak these but it probably won't help. _________________

				| Yeah, I've tried a bunch of stuff and nothing has helped.
Does anyone know what happens when you lose at the judo game? Does it just flash to a game over screen or do your opponents taunt you? I'm just curious what it looks like, that's all.

				| Yeah, Magic Engine definitely doesn't work on the judo game
The real game, what happens is:

 1) Characters return to starting positions and bow
 2) Continue screen with animated Yawara headshot

				| Okay, thanks! I take it Yawara is probably looking pretty sad or is close to crying on the continue screen or something. | |
