| When I try to start the MagicEngine all it does is close down without any error or anything and puts itself in the background., then I have to go into taskmanager and close it down. |

We will need :
1: the make/model of your PC/Mac, or the components of the Frankenstein box.
2: info on the OS and programs running in the background.
3: The level of your experience with Magic Engine.
4: while you gather all this info please search for a tutorial online. Some great ones are out there, if the writer/creator of one of those tutorials read this please step forward. 
5: The state of your PCE.INI file. To learn how to do this please refer to # 4.
This should help us help you.
