just tryed the ME with my R-type complete origanal cd and the in game gfx are flashing, im using 1650x1080 with hi-res mode

This issue is mentioned in another thread. Try using a dump of the actual Super CD System Hu-Card. The following ROM seems to be in general circulation:

Cool #1 Make sure you upgrade to ME 1.1.3 or the most current version.

#2 Try my bios pack :
