				| I hope this forum isn't dead , I hate joining dead forums.
 Magic.Engine v.1.1.3 on Windows XP.

Anyway here is my problem , I have 2 DVD-Drives , one internal & one external. My internal DVD-Drive is busted , so I use my external
 USB DVD-Drive.

Now when I load a TG-16 or PC Engine disc it says No CD, error no disc.
 What the hell ?!

Drive E: TSSTcorp CD/DVDW TS-H552D this is my busted internal
 DVD-drive that Magic.Engine v.1.1.3 detects.

Drive F: SONY DVD RW DRU-840A USB this is my DVD-drive
that works ,but Magic.Engine v.1.1.3 does not detect it !

Tried changing the letter of drive in pce.config but have the same
 problem.

 Here is my log :

				| I had a near similar problem a while ago on a previous version : Look for a file named wnaspi32.dll online and put it in the same folder as Magicengine, your DVD drive should hopefully appear in the emulator. You might need to change the CD-ROM driver in the pce.ini, memories are a bit fuzzy ;)

				| Yes , I tried that but still doesn't work. I noticed wnaspi32.dll is also part of Nero and there are many different versions of wnaspi32.dll.

Can you tell me which version # of wnaspi32.dll I need ?

I do have Nero on my PC, I wonder if that is the problem.
Although , I have many other emulators like PSXfin and Kega Fusion
and I have no problems playing CD games on them.

 ****************************************************

I even tried deleting upper & lower filters on my SONY DVD RW DRU-840A USB DVD-Rom drive & still have the same problem.

Scanned for viruses, spyware & malware & computer is clean.

Changed letters in pce.ini config and again the same problem.

 Magic.Engine v.1.1.3 still doesn't detect my SONY DVD RW DRU-840A USB DVD-Rom drive !!

The funny thing is if I mount TG-16 or PC Engine ISO's with Daemon
 Tools it works.

For a emulator we have to pay for you would think it would play TG-16 & PC Engine discs without any problems !!

Running into the same exact problem with MagicEngine FX 1.11.

You guys at MagicEngine.com have to get this bug worked out on detecting USB DVD-Rom drives.
