				| How to add a cheat code
Click on the 'New' button to create a new cheat :

 Change the cheat name :

Enter the code address (6 hexadecimal digits) :

And if the cheat requires you to freeze the value, click on the 'Freeze value' button :

 And enter the value :

You can now close the cheat window and go back to the game.

If the value was frozen the cheat is always active, to disable it click on the little box at the left of the cheat name :

If the value was not frozen you can open the cheat window at any time to change the value, it will affect the game immediately.

				| I haven't tried the cheat engine yet, but can you save the cheats? I guess on individual cheat dats, right?

What about a tutorial on how to find cheats? If it has a cheat finder that is.

				| I am using Magic-Engine_1.1.3-1811 I see in a reply that cheats auto save, is that only for HuCard roms?
I have entered codes for the CD game Castlevania Rondo of Blood and they don't save, I have also downloaded cheat files and renamed them the same as the game file and they don't load.

Is this an issue for CD games that you have to manually enter the codes every time?

				| Here is the easiest way to update your current codes. I find this way some much more easier then going into the program and adding each code manually. It's very time efficient, but this method works only if the codes are posted in correct MagicEngineformat.
Open your Magic Engine Folder, and open the cheat folder

Select the game's cheat file you want to edit, for example I will edit Douible Dungeons

I will open the file and only see I have cheats for only Player 1 and new cheats for Player 2 were recently posted.
Click HERE for Player 2 cheats

I pasted in the codes for Player 2 in the correct MagicEngine format and will save the file

Loaded up the ROM file and verify the code list has been updated
