				|
 |
				| Hello,
Is it just me or does ME have slow load times loading .PCE files? ME takes between 7 - 10 seconds when I load a game, for he game to actually start. 7-10 seconds of a black screen before game begins to play.

Is there anything I can do to speed up ME load times?

 Thank you very much!

 Jason

				| No loading delay here. Do you load them from a local drive or a network drive? Some games also take a few seconds before displaying something, they don't always show a screen immediately. _________________

				| I have the games on a local drive. The delay happens when I double-click a .pce file. I have .pce files associated with ME. When I double-click the file to start with ME, the delay occurs. When I load the game from within ME, the delay doesn't happen. I think I found my answer, right? : ) | |

				| Yes.
ME startup time is a bit long on certain configs but there not much to do, you can start it with the '-nocd' command line option to disable CD emulation, this will speed things a little bit.
