question about magickit lib bank mapping

Is lib1_bank always mapped to it default location when calling a routine from lib2_bank? Assuming a function was moved to bank 2 with maplibfunc, could one always assume that lib1_bank is still mapped and could call functions from lib1_bank when executing from lib2_bank? This looks to be the case, but I just wanted to make sure this is how it's supposed to work.
