				| It's nice to see them catering to niche users of a niche game system. _________________

				| Not only this board needs more moderators, but David seriously should activate the validation email fonction for registrations so people would have to get a confirmation mail to a valid adress, manually activate their account and then be logged before they can post. This would lock out most of these stupid bots out.

				| The e-mail validation is activated, they provide real e-mail addresses (most of the time a .ru address) and it's a bot that respond to the validation e-mail. What I would need to change is the confirmation code where you must guess a series of letters and digits, the current one is apparently easy to break. _________________

				| I was getting a lot of spam on one of my forums, so I started by banning all *@mail.ru users. That stopped a great deal of them, but not all, so I simply did a hostmask ban on ALL *.ru users. That stopped the vast majority of spambots. _________________

				| Sure, it works, but think for a moment of the ethics of banning all internet users from Russia... _________________

				| The forum in question never had any legitimate users from Russia, so there was no problem in doing that. Furthermore, it's a sad reality, but reality nonetheless, that sometimes, many suffer for the mistakes of a few. I doubt this forum has any legitimate members from Russia either... _________________
