				| Strider shows screen garbage in ME 1.0 but not in 0.99.
The sound effects in Sapphire sounds really annoying. Is this normal?

				| Strider : screen garbage (version 1.0.0 PR 10).
As for Saphire, everything is fine here (perfect audio). You're not playing from an original right? So it's a bad CD no doubt.

				| In my opinion its improbable, that a broken copy of a game causes wrong sound effects but the rest of the game works fine. Who knows? | |

Quite correct you are on this point. It's more likely that Magic Engine is misconfigured or you have sound driver issues. Try checking the volume settings for both Magic Engine and your sound driver, that would be a good start.

				| Think those sound issues have been addressed in some earlier thread. There was some sort of change on how the sound was sent from ME to the system. | |

				| Problem is, we don't know if Saphire is the only game with bad sound effects so a diagnostic is hard to come by... _________________
