				| If I have a cd game that is in .iso format plus the .wav files how do I play it in Magic Engine?  The game is "The Dynastic Hero". 
 I found that Magic Engine doesn't boot .iso files which is a shame (in fact I might just want to wait until it does
  ; is that feature difficult to add?).  I then tried to burn the files to a cd (I used CyberLink Power2Go) but Magic Engine said "load error". 
 The .wav's were originally .mp3's but here's the catch:  they were MP3PRO format.  So I used Thomson mp3PRO Audio Player to convert the .mp3's to .wav's.
 
 My guesses are that either:
 1) Thomson mp3PRO Audio Player converted the .mp3's incorrectly.
 OR
 2) CyberLink Power2Go burned the files incorrectly.
 
 I am a little lost here, can anybody help me?

				| Magic Engine will NEVER, and I do repeat NEVER, play an iso file directly. You need a cuesheet to go along with the batch of files, and then you would need to mount it with a virtual cdrom such as daemon tools or alcohol 120%. _________________

				| Because unlike SegaCD, PCE/TG CDs require a strict and specific layout of the TOC. 
 From my understanding it's much easier and flexable to have the TOC setup outside the emulator, especially since the correct way to dump CD images has only been around pretty much since the availability of TocFixer.
 
 You need to mount the CUE sheet with Alcohol120% or Daemon tools(freeware). You need the real Super CD bios roms. You'll probably need to run TocFixer(necstasy.emunova.net) on you ISO/WAV set to correct the track lengths and create a correct CUE sheet.

 It's not...just pop your legitimate copy of the game into your CDROM and play it. Simple!

 If the copyright owner wanted to make money from these games why have they let them stay out of print for over ten years?  Seems to me the copyright owner doesn't give a crap about these games.
 
 
  Aren't emulators created for the purpose of video game preservation?  After all these systems are getting older by the year and it is getting harder and harder to find one that is in working condition.  Most people don't have the time, energy, or money to hunt down every system or game from the past they are interested in only to have it not work when you get it home. |  |
